Staple 

We are a friendly rural preschool, established in 1967. We are based in the light and airy Staple Village Hall, which is set in a 3 acre field and surrounded by countryside and woodland. We spend the majority of our day outside exploring these spaces.

 

We take children from their second birthday until they start primary school. Each day at Staple Preschool is different, the children lead their own learning and we follow their interests. Children have access to a wide variety of resources which change daily to spark the children's natural curiosity and ensure that new challenges are set.

 

Our caring, experienced and well-trained staff are there to welcome you, and nurture your child through play to achieve their early learning goals and to develop and progress through the Early Years Foundation Stage to prepare them for starting school.

We are extremely proud to be a Green Flag Eco School. This is an internationally recognised award from UNESCO which enables us to fly the Eco-Schools Green Flag. We hope our continued eco projects in our preschool and local community will promote a love of nature and environmental awareness in our children. We ensure that our preschool provides an inclusive environment in which all children, including those with special educational needs, are supported to reach their full potential. Our premises and outside spaces are accessible to all.
